EDIF seeks to raise funds to invest in people by way of their ideas, vision, mission and solutions. Whether it’s hiring, investing, or underwriting, the common theme is betting on people – because it’s people who trail blaze.

 

The Opportunity – Purpose

For 35 years BWC Consulting has brought impact-oriented projects to life nation-wide, we know there is a need to provide resources for scaled replication to ensure all of the models created are captured for long-term sustainability, momentum and acceleration. The next generations can avoid wasting time recreating the wheel and spend more time innovating. The EDIF Platform will provide a voice for synthesizing all the noise.      

 

EDIF will make “investments” into people vs. places or things, whose opportunity generally represents high impact growth or aims to address societal issues that create wealth and build resilient communities. The Foundation as established will also support distressed communities and aligned visions with technical support, no-interest loans and grants. It is the mission of EDIF to create sustainable, viable communities and infrastructure by providing necessary patient capital in a unique manner that eliminates traditional barriers to capital.

 

What is the EDIF Platform? [A Portal of Proprietary Information]

The EDIF Platform is a digital portal where members can access proprietary information, content and tools (i.e., a toolbox with operating and pitch templates). The portal will connect members to networks, podcasts, and other content to fully develop their potentially game-changing endeavors

                                                                 

What is the Timeline? [A 21st Century Economic Development Infrastructure Foundation]

We will launch EDIF December 2024, with the first investments in 2025 coinciding with BWC’s 20th year celebration.

 

BWC will seed EDIF’s capitalization with an initial $60,000 investment. The matching funds will be used to produce the EDIF portal, sponsor scholarships [with Opportunity HUB (OHUB)] and make a minimum of two investments in People/Management Teams Projects.
